Ms. Salma: I have been teaching English for 8 years
ET: What do you like most in teaching English?

ET: What do you find as the most challenging thing in teaching English and how did you overcome it?

I overcame this challenge with providing various activities that used visual, auditory, and kinesthetic aspects.
ET: As we know, speaking is the biggest issue for most of English learners in Indonesia. As an English teacher, what are practical measures that you apply to your class in order to boost your students’ speaking skill?
Ms. Salma: I always have interview session with my students. In this session, they have to interview their friends about a topic that they chose in a fish bowl. This activity improves their speaking skills rapidly.
ET: Is there any activity that you give to your students to sharpen their critical thinking skills?
Ms. Salma: I provide my students with riddle quizzes and group discussions to enhance their critical thinking skills.
