Teach academic TOEFL, TOEIC & IELTS classes.

Maintain administrational duties such as class attendance and reports.

Conduct and design Placement Tests to help place prospective students in the correct class level.

My responsibilities include teaching English grammar and pronunciation in a fun and patient English only environment. I also teach classes for TOEFL and IELTS preparation as well as Business English classes focusing on cultural awareness and presentation skills.

I offer private individual English tutoring ranging from basic conversational English to English for the hospitality industry, in addition to facilitating improvement in English composition (guiding students through writing an expository paragraph).

After a thorough assessment of a client’s physical, mental and emotional health, relief of symptoms is sought through the use of hands/feet for the therapeutic manipulation of body and energy symptoms, as well as yoga and qi gong exercises.  I also teach Do-in or self acupressure so that clients can learn to heal themselves.

As the assistant to Professor Eva Fernandez it was my responsibility to prepare data samples and implement research in language acquisition for speakers of English as a second language.
