I first came to Indonesia in May 2008 and instantly fell in love with it. I loved the culture, the food, the weather and, above all, the friendliness and openness of the people. I met my wife here and am proud to call Indonesia my home.
In my time as a teacher of English, I have helped thousands of people take steps towards achieving their goals. I have taught people of all ages and abilities and always strive towards making my teaching clear, engaging and useful. This has included teaching young learners, teenagers and adults in everything from conversation, to business English, to international exam preparation in both public and private schools, in companies and universities.
It is my fundamental belief that the learning of a foreign language does not have to be a stressful or pressured experience. Indeed, the best learning occurs in an open, supportive environment and there is always time to further the learning process and have fun at the same time.
